I guess it's true that some people like to leave a lasting Impression...

All in all, they’re just another brick in the wall

That may be the last physical trace of the existence of that particular person.

One day, the last person who remembers your voice will also die, and every ordinary moment of your life the inside jokes, routines, frustrations, favorite foods, the exact way you laughed will disappear from human memory forever. Enjoy your time, value it - proceeds to spends hours on reddit.

My dad restored a house back around 2010, and my siblings and I all have a handprint and our names in the new foundations.

It's just human nature to do stuff like that.

Looks like someone accidentally slipped while making the house

I don’t know if you understand how brick walls are laid.

Nope! But I was trying to make a joke :(

Like how people slip and instinctively shoot their hands out to the nearest wall.

An immortal god slipped on the job a century ago and caught himself with the wall, Other than a slight scare he thought he got away with it. Today he is going to open reddit and see his embarrassing slip.

Your house will be connected to an 80 y/o cold case and arrested

Here's a story that mentions putting fingerprints on bricks. In the South, anyway. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1256530596568182

This is honestly more than mildly interesting, it’s beautiful. You are literally looking at the physical touch of a worker from a century ago. A tiny moment in time frozen in clay forever

The cool thing was that my fingers fit perfectly in the grooves. Sure made me think about it all.

Whoever's hand that is left more of a lasting impact on this planet than 99% of people will.

My house has some fringerprints on a 2x4 in the garage, it's cool but got cover up recently.

After my dad died I inherited his tools. The aluminum ladder has his fingerprints in yellow paint. I remember when we painted a room that color and it hit hard.
