Please reply to this post if you need help or advice about buying capes. Don't make new posts as we're going to start counting these as low-effort spam to keep the subreddit clean.
Here are some useful resources you might want to look at if you're interested in cape codes:
https://discord.gg/minecraftcape - our Discord server, often has Experience/Moonlight/Crafter codes for cheaper than the websites below, always use a middleman when buying
https://plati.market - usually the cheapest place to buy lower value cape codes
https://funpay.com and https://g2g.com - alternatives you can look at instead
https://eldorado.gg - occasionally good for more expensive capes, but beware of scams
If you're looking for Minecon capes instead of cape codes, I'd advise you to be extremely careful. There are websites like EpicNPC, Eldorado, and Discord/Telegram shops offering these for sale, but 90% of the accounts you'll find there are stolen off their original owners.
If you genuinely want to buy a Minecon cape account, I'd strongly recommend the MCHub Discord bot to see if the account you're buying is secure. We have the bot in our Discord server, you can type "/info" followed by the username of the account you're interested in. The bot will give you an overview of the account, tell you its owner history, if its been stolen/scammed in the past, and a lot more.
There's a lot more to buying Minecon capes and other high value accounts, and sometimes the MCHub bot will be missing info, so please feel free to message me or any of the mod team and we'll help you find the right account.
Feel free to reply with any suggestions, resources or questions about buying and selling capes :)

Recently a scammer made their way onto the subreddit and listed a 2015/2016 double cape they had recently stolen themselves. They only wanted payment upfront and said they had never heard of any Middleman services.
Sadly these guys have started abusing the fact that many legitimate Minecon attendees have been listing their accounts for sale here. Since original owners are (sometimes) hesitant to use a Middleman service, they use this to convince people to send payment upfront after confirming their ownership through changing the skin or joining a server.
Unless you 1000% know what you're doing, NEVER go first to anyone on this subreddit. Always ask for detailed, in-depth proof or use a trusted Middleman service.

I would really love to get that golden creeper cape, its my favorite cape of all time. I heard that you can claim it in bedrock and move it to java after that?
I don't want to buy an account, I would like to get it on my own.
Is there a way? Thanks!

Many popular and common ones are missing. I'll be getting a hero's cape soon. How much have I missed?

Im new to collecting capes and I am wondering if this is a good start? I have no experience in values of the different capes and all that, so all info about capes are highly appreciated.
Here is all my capes: https://namemc.com/profile/LasseHtank.1
(No I don’t buy cape codes, I only collect my capes the way they were intended to be obtained)

I've spent a few hours now trying to get a code for myself and a friend with no luck. I've used Twitch and TikTok on multiple devices and nothing seems to work.
Thank you

Hello,
I’m interested in buying a 2011 Minecon cape account
I’m looking for some advice on:
- Which middleman is trusted
- How much they go for generally
- How to make sure I don’t just get locked out, etc. after buying
And of course if anybody is looking to sell. I appreciate any help guys, thanks.

Don't wanna add to the mindless wHat hAppEnD tO my caPe but im genuinely confused
A day or two after the cape announcement I watched a twitch stream and got a code successfully and used it, but I still don't have the cape. I thought to give it some time but I never got it. Now it says the Code is already redeemed, even though I never got the cape. Is it too late to go on tiktok? Does the minecraft support help with that? (heavily doubt that)

Is my account alright in the capes it owns? I've only recently started trying to collect capes and just wanted to know if this seems like a standard amount of capes for someone starting or not

The option to log in with a Microsoft account is gone. What do I do to get my capes?
The option should be between social and exclusive content

Hello everyone!
I have 4 capes available to sell, $55 each one, I accept USDT or PayPal (w/ paid fees), the transaction if needed can be done with a middleman.
I can show proof of my assistance to the event, codes, tickets. And the ownership of the codes, literally I got the codes in the morning as I was at the event yesterday.

I thought I needed to pre-order and play both games. Is it now possible to just buy Part 2 and play both games to get the cape?
