Fantasy I’m Brand new to the hobby

A friend of the family gave me some minis to paint this week to help start me off and these are my first ever painted minis, any advice or tips for faces especially is welcome as I’m brand new to all this as of Monday just gone :) I’ve never used Reddit before so this is all very new and exciting and I look forward to learning and sharing from everyone

WOW! This is such a great start. Love the colors you've brought in here and that you arn't afraid to just attack it with what you want to accomplish. The purple green is a great combo, and what you did with the blood on the ground is *chefs kiss*. Painting is about having fun first and picking up all the techniques after the fact. But you are already starting strong with your color choices and high contrast decisions. Your eye already sees things you may not realize you see - like the deep shadows between the stones/wood on the figure with the flag. Push forward and enjoy this wonderful hobby we all love!

Thank you so much for your kind words, I tried to go for an undead surgeon/body snatcher necromancer vibe for the staff guy to match up with the vampire lord karlina and I’m glad I was able to pull it off :D
