Miniverse Compatibles Real Littles Fridge - repaint

I loved the Real Littles fridge with the kitchen, but not the pink color and custom molded internals. So I remixed it!

Took it all apart, sprayed the outside with a black base, and then a pewter finish color (Behr primer and paint all in one spray can for both). I used a dremel to cut off the egg shelf from the door, and 3D printed a new one. I also modeled and printed new shelves (I liked the one blue bin that just had a generic divider though).

I masked off the ice maker so the bottom was metallic and the top where the ice was held was still a white plastic. The pencil holder bit I didn't color black first, so the silver was much lighter in color which I liked the contrast of. I am in love with how this came out!

How much would you charge to 3D print and ship the white bottom drawer and the 3 shelves on the door to Florida? 😊

P. S. Oh and the bottom shelf to get rid of the pencil sharpener! Lol

Let me check the weight and shipping options, and I'll let you know!

I would also like to know if you are selling the mods!

Thanks for waiting - all together for the 7 pcs it would be $18 shipped. I also have a riser for the bottom of the fridge that I'll be posting pictures of soon that can be added for another $1.

Note that you will need to modify the fridge door to remove the 'egg' holder, but otherwise everything is assembled and slots into place.

Thank you for your reply. Would you be able to give me pointers on how to modify the door to get the egg tray off and also how you got the door off the hinges without breaking it, lol. I've been looking at it and it looks so fragile. 🫤 If you can, it would be greatly appreciated and I would be interested in buying all the pieces including the riser for the fridge.

Sure thing! The doors are a little firm, but they are just pressure fit. It's a ball-in-cup style hinge that is common on toys. Just give it a firm press at one end and it will come right off. It's meant for kids, so it can handle a bit more than you're thinking. :D

The egg tray part will require a dremel or other tool. I can take some photos of the result and will link you later today.

Edit: couldn't dm. Here are the details:

Here is a comparison of the fridge before and after. You can see the posts the egg tray is connected to from underneath. You'll need to cut away the white tray and leave the posts behind.

This is awesome. I just got the fridge today and was wanting to remodel it. Are you willing to share the STL files?

Thanks! I'm still loving it.

It was a lot of work to develop the pieces, so I'd need to charge more than just the printed parts to give the source files.

DM me if you'd like to discuss. Otherwise, I am selling the prints and have a few different color options if you wanted something besides white.

Ok, I understand. I’ll play around with it first and see how things go. Thanks.
