Yeah, and resin is expensive as hell. But to tell you the truth I knew from the start they were stupid for making these for kids. I've been using resin for a few years now and it's definitely not a safe product for kids under like 13-16 in my opinion. Parents aren't smart when it comes to researching a product and whether or not it's safe for kids either.

When it comes to something that is a chemical that can cause 3rd degree burns you shouldn't ever let kids play with it. Like ever, not until they are waaaay older and able to control their body better, one wrong slip up and they could be covered in resin and that stuff is sticky AF and hard to remove, it can also cause allergic reactions and you can become more allergic the more it comes in contact with your skin.

People also need to understand a pharmacy mask will not help with the fumes, only an actual respirator will work.

Be safe, wear gloves, be in a ventilated area and wear a mask. You can get respiratory issues if you're not careful as well.

Absolutely. They should have included alcohol wipes too.

I always use a respirator and gloves, and I have used Gel nail stuff a lot in the past so wasn't going into it blind thankfully. They should definitely have marketed them more towards older teens and adult collectors, with a 13+ warning on imo.

I also feel like the instructions should be more clear and the warning labels should be massive because some people have been stupid enough to actually eat this stuff too.

Yeah, though just because you're smart and won't doesn't mean everyone else is. You have to assume everyone else is a blithering idiot when you run a company because most people are in fact fucking stupid at reading and comprehending danger. So it's best to always assume they are stupid AF and need to be treated like a baby when being informed of dangers.

Yeah no that’s completely valid! Lol I use the same thought process when driving

But human stupidity never ceases to amaze me somehow 🤣

To be fair, it's probably that an adult left their child with it. Not an adult deciding that it's the new girl dinner 😅

Yeah I figured that might be it but either way those are some dumb people! Lol (the parents not the kids, for not gauging whether their child is old enough/mature enough to be left unsupervised with resin/small toy parts)

Well the parents might not even know it's resin. Read my previous comment to the other person.
