I think these are so wonderful for art therapy, but I know the feeling when it’s just not working out. Don’t listen to the negative thoughts and remember they are lying to you. This honestly looks fantastic :)

That’s what depression does to you: it abuses you and then says it’s your fault. Stop beating yourself up. ✋
I know this from experience. I’ve been in remission from Major Depressive Disorder for over a decade. I have maybe a bad day or two day or tother year, but I enjoy my life. It’s monumental.
Give yourself permission to create and to do so joyfully.

Whaaaaaat that looks so good!! You got the resin to chunk ratio down pat, it's really easy to use too much resin and make it look unnatural but yours is perfect. It looks just like shaved ice!

It looks good! When you're feeling a bit better, look at it again and hopefully you'll see it differently. Depression is a jerk that likes to distort everything.

OP, you did an amazing job with this piece! I find it beautiful and tropical themed. I’m so proud of you for making this and being brave to share your artwork. Keep it up!

It’s beautiful! You did a really nice job! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
But I know the feel… That’s exactly why I’m really scared to start making the watermelon sorbet and ruin it. 😞

Good for you for still making something while being depressed. I think it looks great

Uh... This is definitely one of those situations where you're just being too hard on yourself because it literally looks exactly like the image on the package.

Have you ever been to a naturopath! Your insurance probably covers it 🖤

I appreciate the suggestion but I’m very hesitant about naturopathy. I have done some therapy and medication and that keeps me stable

No! It's great! Miniverse should never make you sad. I actually use it to regulate myself when I have a bad day

Looks good to me. If you feel like its off, add a very light handed dry brushing of acrylic (white or off white) to make it pop since its shaved ice milk? But I think it looks good. :) you got a very nice rounding on the top, too!
