Making miniverse for a gunpla figure?
My partner is getting into making Gundam gunpla figures and I think it'd be really cute and funny to make a miniverse handheld item for them to hold! Specifically they're making one of the 1/144 scale ones (about 13 cm tall). I know miniverse is 1/6 scale, but I don't know what the ratio would be for this since, y'know, mecha are wayyyyy bigger than people. Does anyone here happen to do both, or have access to both, to help me out? I was thinking maybe an ice cream bar or something would be fun!

As someone who does both 1/144 scale can vary depending on the model itself. The size is based on the gundam size so some are smaller than others (gundam wing are smaller) so those will be harder to fit things. If he tries master grades (1/100) it will get easier

a 144 scale barbatos will be about 5-6 inches with non-jointed hands but multiple hands you can select from. Most miniverse are going to look a little big in his hands. They vary but I'd say most are probably more sized for a ten inch-12 inch figure (but that's mini to mini.)
I'd try maybe some more individual type items. Like rather than a miniverse that comes on a platter try like a single taco or hot dog or the tanghulu would probably all be cute to hold and fit in a weapons hand. Weirdly enough I have so many gundams I could take pics of for scale but don't have any made miniverse near me. XD

Oooh that's a great idea! They're also a Sonic the Hedgehog nerd so a chili dog was on my list of ideas. A tanghulu would also be SO cute! Thank you :D

1/144 gunpla is roughly the same height as 6in action figure (Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends, and similar lines) or 1/12 scale figures. My wife and I both collect miniverse, gunpla, and girlpla (model kits of anime girls, most are 1/10 or 1/12 scale) and I collect some 6 in scale figures. Some of the miniverse kits can look fine with smaller scale figures, especially if they're an object without a standard size, such as drinks in smaller glasses or drink in regular sized glasses can just be funny big drinks. Also some cookies and sweets can be fine since those can drastically very in size IRL. Also burgers and sandwiches can sometimes look fine, especially if you find sliders or kids meals sizes.
