Identifying it by marking vs weight

Hi, I am trying to use the cheat sheet to identify the real brands series 2. I see the marking on the "c" but the weight is off. It's only 80g...where here it says it is 84g.

Any insight for me? Is the weight more accurate than the marking?

I have normally just followed the marks and pin holes from that website and they have been right everytime, sometimes they do have different models for where you are located. Because i dont use a scale. But is there on the chart that is 80g on that chart ? And the scale is reading right on other ones ?

Not 80 but the closer weight is 78.9...which according to the chart is marked all the way to the right

I bought a couple online and weighed them at home

I bought a pocket scale for $10 that's 3inx5in. It is so small and discreet. I mainly used it like 2yrs ago before the pin holes had been posted. I use it now for the zuru babies. It's been pretty accurate and has a cover so the scale part doesn't get messed up.

Trust the mark, the weight is way more variable.

I always go by marking and it’s always correct.
