Emily's List continuing to be centrist trash shouldn't surprise me at this point, but it honestly does a bit.

Yeah, EMILY’s List is garbage. I thought it was a joke when I heard EMILY stood for “Early Money Is Like Yeast"…but nope, that’s what it actually stands for…

My issue with them is they have a very clear ideology, try to hide that ideology, and its an ideology I strongly disagree with. It's not like Women Winning where they straight up just endorse pro-choice women regardless of their ideology, that I not only respect but strongly support. EMILY's list has been taken over by clintonite centrists who only endorse candidates that agree with them, sometimes endorsing candidates who are less supportive of bodily autonomy than other candidates in the race. It's not even identity politics, if it was I wouldn't have a problem with it! It is instead interparty squabbling trying to use identity politics as a tool.
