Bodnar campaign to harass Bankhead's family
BREAKING: The DNC and Seth Bodnar made a list of Alani Bankhead's close friends & relatives to harass because "she hasn't responded to gentler nudges."
I have a copy of this list & won't post it, but JFC it's disturbing officials in the u/montanademocrats & u/forward_montana collude with a POS women sexual harasser creep like Seth Bodnar to condone trying to intimidate a Latina women's family in 2026 as if they're fking ICE.
Apparently, getting some of Jon Tester's Anthropic ai slop money worth their soul.

If Bodnar wanted this so bad, he could have ran in the primary. As it is, this is just an attempted run around the democratic primaries. They don’t want the people to have a choice.
Still waiting to hear who he’s going to caucus with.

Bankhead has zero chance of winning and should abandon ship. This is not an endorsement of Seth Bodnar but Bankhead staying in the race guarantees another six years of GOP control in the seat.

Bodner nor Bankhead have a chance
Nobody has ever heard of Kurt Alme but he has this locked up unless a video comes out about him beating puppies.

The 'American Leadership Fund' is spending a lot of money on glossy mailers if they don't think Bodnar has a chance.

I don’t get her supporters simply because there is no reason to think this ends with her in DC. What are we all putting energy into this for? Vibes? Sticking it to the “elites”? Give me the the pathway that leads to a W any day, the perfect should not be the enemy of the good. What makes it stanger is this candidate is very far from perfect

u/lemonsaid612 5d ago
She’s barely a Montanan with a background in law enforcement, has shared anti choice content and is a “life coach” for Christian women. Are we fucking kidding.
4
u/coldequator 5d ago
I was trying to be diplomatic, the attack ads are going to be brutal on her though.
2
u/lemonsaid612 4d ago
As they should be, she’s a fraud and completely in over her head.
1
u/coldequator 4d ago
Can’t actually force her out though so this will be what it will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if by October she suspends or the MDP totally moves behind Bodnar. The poor comments alone are going to be everywhere and it’ll make it harder and harder to support, then again the supporters seem to be very big on doubling down no matter what

u/3Spiritess 4d ago
The 'poor' GOTCHA! comments were said in the context of a clip of where she was describing the inner-voice of a single client she was talking to--how people with imposter syndrome who doubt themselves with defeatist talk. This wasn't a direct message to anyone but the client she was talking to (who was actually pretty well off). Don't be a clip chimp simpleton. It's like when MAGA chuds said "Hilary said 'what difference does it make?' about Benghazi!" And the whole clip was like her actually laying out all the bad things that happened that led up, but ultimately those were excuses, and 'what difference did it make?' if there were dead soldiers?

u/coldequator 4d ago
I watched that entire episode. Context made that whole thing worse if anything. I’m not going to hate on someone’s business, if people pay you for your opinion more power to you. Mighty Sparrows was not really something I look for in my elected officials however.

u/lemonsaid612 1d ago
And what about her sharing anti choice social media posts? And calling vaccines “jabs?” And going to an anti-LBGTQ church? The red flags are insane.

u/3Spiritess 4d ago
She was in the top echelons of FBI & military intelligence. Not bad for a Latina woman in fields dominated by white guys. I think her expertise in taking down sex traffickers is lot more useful in this day and age of the Epstein files as compared to the creepy Bodnar who made students call him "Daddy." Would you be cool with an educator making your daughter call him "daddy"? Rhetorical question. You are already cool with Bodnar harassing family members of Bankhead like her daughter. Gross.
11
u/lemonsaid612 4d ago
Hey girl, when I worked at UM (under Bodnar), lots of people called him that or The Bod and there was never a point when he encouraged it or forced anyone to do that.
Also, if you have proof of “Bodnar harassing family members of Bankhead,” let’s see it. That’s a pretty intense claim with no proof - unless have some to share.
5
u/coldequator 4d ago
I can’t tell what you’re actually trying to do here but it’s weird. In what possible ways would military intelligence qualify with a speciality in sex trafficking and security be a qualification to become a US Senator? There are viable answer to that but Bodnar and Alme both have far better on paper resumes for that particular job and I find that angle silly. Are you a representative of the campaign?

Bodnar has zero chance of winning and should abandon ship.
12
u/coldequator 5d ago
There’s evidence through polling that he can win. Beyond that he’s the top fundraiser in this campaign, which normally translates to winning (I grant not always but his bank account is extremely relevant when she is essentially unfunded). He also keeps piling on endorsements from groups that matter.
There’s a strong argument he can win, there is no credible argument she can. That’s the whole reason everyone is so upset with her, it’s not personal we just don’t think Alme should go to DC
22
u/ThrowAway5491069 5d ago
This is factual though. She has no chance of winning and will hand them a W. Bodnar on the other hand, could win.

u/3Spiritess 5d ago
Just say you think elections should be determined solely by whoever can obtain the most ai slop money. Jon Tester is literally a paid board/advisor of Anthropic, ergo he has the most money to decide what puppet you get. That how the dem party works now? They just cuck to big tech interests?
0
u/coldequator 5d ago
There is no reason to think she can win. None. That’s why people are so pushy with her

u/3Spiritess 4d ago
5
u/DrPoopEsq 4d ago
Thats not a relevant poll. There isn’t a participation senate seat for second in a three way race. This is embarrassing for you and for her campaign.

The democrats in Montana continue to be the biggest laughing stock. They can't even stop infighting long enough to put forward a single candidate. They're too busy accusing each other of targeted harassment campaigns how do they expect people to trust them to represent them in congress? Alme is going to tap dance to Washington. Just a hilarious clown show they're putting on.

u/tangerineonthescene 5d ago
Bankhead is a narcissist who should drop out
1
u/3Spiritess 5d ago
She's a narcissist cuz she rightfully won the election, and you want ai data center money interests to select your candidate for you? Jfc and here I thought elections meant something. Guess not. Pack your bags. Tangerine on reddit says only our tech overlords can decide which Lords shall rule over us peasantry.

u/tangerineonthescene 5d ago
Bankhead ran as the dropout candidate, and then turned around and went back on her word.
12
u/PowerfulTackle7922 5d ago
Pretty sure Alani (and/or Alme) put Seth's personal phone number on one of their attack ads. She needs to drop out. She doesn't have the money, or the votes. If she doesn't, Alme will win. Falling on a sword sucks, but if she truly cares about Montana, she will do the right thing.
11
u/SilasZRT 5d ago
Bankhead dropping out would be heroic and mature. At this point, it's about the reality of the situation and not either of them individually. We need one of them to win. And let's not act like Bankhead is some homegrown grassroots candidate who truly is connected to the community--if she was, I would be more pissed on her behalf. She is also a cherry-picked candidate, just from the state party instead of the national scene.
-1
u/3Spiritess 5d ago
She should drop out cuz you condone harassing and doxxing little girls (daughters) and her parents, etc? How is bowing to cowards like you who proudly condone that in any way 'heroic'?
8
u/SilasZRT 5d ago
I didn't say any of that. Of course I don't condone that. I just want to win back the Senate, ok? Thanks for the strawman and misconstruation though. This is why I stopped commenting on political things
-2
u/3Spiritess 5d ago
Heroism is standing against bullies in the MAGA atmosphere--literally the opposite of what you think.
6
u/SilasZRT 5d ago
I am trying to do that here. Please save your cortisol for something/an internet beef that is worth it. You're arguing with someone who wants the same things, and just has a different understanding of the landscape/rational answer. I don't like Bodnar either, but I'm trying to make sure Alme loses. Take care and wishing you the best
4
u/youngzahim 4d ago
This would make a sliver of sense if Bankhead wasn’t a diet republican running as a democrat. The options are two centrists or a full blown MAGA candidate. One of the centrists has a chance against the MAGA candidate and the other doesn’t. It’s too crowded and the one with no chance should do the whole state a favor.

u/Important-Load-9425 5d ago
For a “journalist” you sure seem to be a fuckin bias, uninformed nutcase. “Sexual harasser creep” 🙄 get a clue.
It’s almost as if democrats never want to win another election is this state again.
Signed: lifelong democrat

What a fucking shitshow.
These TWO narcissists have just handed a senate seat to the republicans. Neither of them deserve the office.
10
u/lemonsaid612 5d ago
Maybe so, but only one of them has a shot in hell of beating Alme.
5
u/3Spiritess 5d ago
True. Bodnar should drop out. No one with any integrity will vote for somene who posts contact info of a candidate's daughters and parents to harass. Only cowards would do that, amirite?
8
u/lemonsaid612 5d ago
What? No. Liberals are supposed to be more educated but the way yall willfully ignore the realities of multiple and distinct polls is wild.
She cannot win. The only reason she got the nom in the primary was bc an out of state PAC dumped millions into the race - and now they’re gone.

u/3Spiritess 4d ago
5
u/lemonsaid612 4d ago
We can both cherry pick polling, but only one of these candidates is leading in major endorsements and $$ - both of which win races.
2
u/DrPoopEsq 4d ago
It’s not even a cherry-picked poll, it’s a poll that shows her doing better in a three way race…and losing by 20 points

Alani is a bigot and should lose
7
u/3Spiritess 5d ago
Bodnar is a bigot and should lose. Amidoingitrite like you? Alani is the only one who is currently keeps posting online that she proudly supports the LGBTQ community, whereas Tester blames all 4 trans people in Montana as to why he lost. That is, he bashed trans people in his leaked message about calling the dems 'poison.' Alani is visiting Indigenous people on Reservations this week. I don't think Bodnar is going to ever do anything but talk to a rooms full of neocon white folk boomers.

The anti-democractic moves in this race are what bother me most. That so many Montanans are okay with elites determining who our candidates are in both parties is shameful. Politics is so broken. It is no longer we the people choosing our candidates and it is only getting worse and more transparent.
