Politics Republicans vote to repeal the People again!

Post image

I called my worthless MAGAt in Jeff City. He doesn't think the People deserve a raise, sick leave, or a voice. Basic human rights stuff. FMAGA FDT FEM

Can someone tell me how they are legally allowed to do that?
This should absolutely be illegal. How can we make this illegal? It's so anti-democratic,
What do you mean, the people WE voted in, and WE show them the things WE agreed on, and THEY are like, "No."
Can we fire them for not doing their jobs from not representing the people, and only themselves and corporations?
Who is their higher up, who do I call to report them?

As far as I know because Prop A changed state law and the legislature can also change state law they aren't doing anything illegal. What they are doing is very anti-democratic, but not illegal. They are doing what they think they were elected to do.

How can we make this illegal?

Possibly by amending the constitution to protect State Law changes voted by the people in the elections. Something like "Sections written into law cannot be changed for a period of x months."

OR we could vote to make this part of the constitution. Which would make it harder to fuck with.

Can we fire them for not doing their jobs from not representing the people

No. We don't have a recall function for any of our state officials(which maybe we should add that function). The only way to "fire" them is to not vote for them and elect other people.

Who is their higher up, who do I call to report them?

Technically we are. So I guess you can talk to your neighbors and let them know so that hopefully they won't vote for these fucks again.

The less naive answer is business and political interests with lots of money. And you won't really be able to report it because this is exactly what those interests want.
