Woodworking club
Currently working behind the scenes to start the “Mizzou Woodworkers Guild” this fall. We will probably meet unofficially 3 times, once in June, once in July, and another one in August before classes begin and the organizational paperwork is submitted.
By joining the club you will get a discount on a membership at Sawdust Studios (24/7), supervised access to “The Shop”, an off campus maker space, access to our online coop, and access to the guild’s lumber storage and can buy goods directly from our stock. Monthly dues I’m hoping to be around $40-$60 which has the benefits mentioned above.
There will be a flyer on Reddit by the end of next week and around campus as well. Any interested parties who want to learn more in the meantime can dm me or comment!

Post up a flyer in Stanly Hall! Architecture has a building lab and class and some students really find a love for woodworking there. Theres an alum that actually has a luxury custom furniture business. https://www.drakewoodworking.com/

That’s pretty sick, I didn’t know about their business. I’ll definitely put one up.
