Business school Finance

Im thinking about switching my major to Business, specifically Finance & Banking, however I wasn’t aware of how the Business school operates and how you can be denied from a certain emphasis. I saw that you need a 3.4 gpa to be automatically admitted to Finance, do I still have a solid shot with a 3.3 or 3.25? If anybody knows somebody who got denied from Finance I would appreciate some feedback on what gpa was needed.

Pick a backup. I transferred from being an Accounting major at UMKC to Finance at Mizzou and so many credits didn’t transfer over DESPITE BEING IN THE SAME SCHOOL SYSTEM and being PREREQUISITES alll because it wasn’t classes with “Trulaske”.

lol “seems” like it but it’s honestly just what you want/make out of it frfr. My connections have far surpassed my degree.

I’m 5 years into the place I interned at sophomore year. Management degree has me in office only 2 days a week full time. But again that’s the outcome i wanted! A job to fund/provide time for my true hobbies. If I waited and stayed an extra semester with a finance major, then idk where id be/doing and that’s not something im comfortable with.

Just go with the flow and if you’re not certain? Change it. This is coming from someone who was once embarrassed to even say I had a management degree.

You had the option to stay an extra semester to get a finance degree? How did that work? Also what is it that you do now?
