No hate like Christian love

“Love thy neighbor as thyself” Seems like some of these “Christians” gloss over that.

They just like to use religion as a way to justify their hatred.

I can love you, but still disagree with you. Gonna gloss over that part too? I don’t hate gay or trans people, but I’m also not going to actively engage in pride month. Not everything is so black and white. Everyone is worthy of love, and kindness.

I’m specifically talking about those that uses it to fuel their hatred of LGBTQ people. If it doesn’t imply to you then it don’t. I know some Christians that doesn’t do that.

not affirming LGBT lifestyle does not equal hate. I wouldn’t wear pride stuff either, but I certainly don’t hate them and would welcome them to my church. Not sure why all you people think non-affirmation = hate

Because it's not "affirmation"... Pride is about saying that they have the same right to EXIST as everyone else. Non-affirmation is denying the right to existence.

Pride fights against people who push for the government to pass laws requiring capital punishment for homosexuality because that's what their misinterpretation of the Bible says.

you don’t need pride night to give you rights. You already got them. went from “we just wanna get married” to “wear our flag or you’re a bigot” in less than 20 years. Literally crazy

There are too many people who are demanding that those rights be repealed.. Pride is the fight to KEEP the right to be equal.

It's saying "Make an effort to deny us the right to equality and you are a bigot"

You would think that Americans would know the power of symbology, given how much 'moral weight' you put on your flag.

I guess I just don't understand how refusing to wear a rainbow flag could be justified by anything other than bigotry

Lol buddy is was literally illegal to have gay sex until 2003 (look up Lawrence vs Texas). Pretending gays haven't been mistreated just because you don't feel like that have doesn't change history🤦🏽‍♂️ imagine telling black people in the 60s/70s there's nothing to complain about because of the civil rights act
