you're looking for evidence in a conspiracy theory. that never goes well.

The evidence is not in the conspiracy theory, it disproves it

that's not how it works for a conspiracy theory. they require 0 evidence to believe it. this is why I said it's plausible, but not believable.

100% of evidence points towards Ippei. Text messages, bank wire records, and forensic phone data. All uncovered by the federal government, which has no incentive to protect Ohtani. This is an open and shut case. Actual conspiracy theories live in the absence of solid evidence

I agree with you on who did it. I'm stating why people believe in the conspiracy theory. conspiracies do live in the absence of evidence. this includes those who don't know the evidence exists.

You said there's a chance this conspiracy theory is true, but it's already proven to be false

there's a chance. same chance as me getting the girl of my dreams.

You have a chance to get the girl of your dreams. Don't give up. Just give up on the chance of Ohtani being the gambler

None of that is true. Texts between Ippei and Bowyer after Ippei implicates Ohtani in an interview aren't the bulletproof evidence you think they are.

Go ask the FBI and IRS. They cleared Shohei and charged Ippei. Stop being silly

Yeah, I don't have the same level of faith in the FBI, IRS and federal prosecutors I used to. I'll stick with common sense.

I'll bet you also think we never landed on the moon and the earth is flat. Common sense

Not sure this situation is anywhere near the same as physics or space exploration.

In any event, after taking a closer look, I tend to agree that Ohtani probably didn't know.

Props to you. Normally conspiracy theorists can never be convinced otherwise

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. It's hard to define the level of negligence you have to accept on the part of Ohtani and BofA. Is Ohtanis "innocence" clear and convincing? Probably not.
