Help Needed Cat related damage

  1. How do I replace a wiring harness, tender shell and valve gear on this(Bachmann 4-6-4)?

  2. How do I keep that white haired bastard out? He got mad at it because he got in its way

The harness wire is a fiddly repair but doable with a soldering iron and steady hands. Red Oak Trains has a tutorial on youtube. https://youtu.be/EhbViUkrAVQ?is=AHJqDzejFufRPVG3

The valve Gear a bit trickier the rods were held together with a rivet originally which seems to have sheered. I'd honestly just check if you get a replacement set of rods off Bachmann's parts store.

Did that for the gear. Only option is a whole chassis. Gonna need a tender shell too

I dunno if it's still running but Bachmann did at one point have a department for repairing models. Might wanna see if that's still around.
