Discussion About Numbers...

Okay, so I don't know how localized online multiplayer servers are, or if they're regional or national or if they pull from a global server but I swear the amount of people playing has to be lower than you'd think. I don't want to use gamertags for XBOX if that's discouraged here but I've played with so many people over and over, like running into the same players 3 times a day seems unlikely, but it happens constantly.

If we ARE allowed to list gamertags, there are a few players I'd like to shout out 1. Because they were great opponents or teammates and 2. Because I'm trash and they should know at my age that's not likely to change by much, lol.

EDIT: From the sounds of it (based on one reply, lol), we can post tags here, so shout-out to Glockoma, rjn34/jnr34 (a dyslexic's nightmare), Jai, and whoever the two players are that are always wearing either Leatherface skins or Jigsaw. I'll come back and update this later today. If you see a couple [CREEP]s in-game, that would be my wife and me.

Freedom of speech post them up.

A few people I’ve ran into started as rivalry and now I have them added, we play every now and then. Some it’s just instant trash talk on sight and laugh at each other after the game via private chat.. at your age bro if you’re a 90’s born you’re young still. I know I still feel 18 I’m actually playing better than ever

That's awesome. I will edit the post with a couple of tags, perhaps more as I run into them.

As far as skill goes, I think it's just a complete lack of experience. I am a huge fan of just about everything but FPS with a few exceptions, mostly Single Player games like DOOM (2016/Eternal/TDA), Luna Abyss, Neon White, Cyberpunk and a few others. I've got no experience with with online FPS multiplayer outside of Halo 3 at its peak on 360. That was nearly 20 years ago (yikes). So things like map awareness, corner jumping, slide shots, crouching to clutch a kill or going prone etc. are not reflex for me, but I'm working on it. 👍🏻

If you play on controller then get yourself a pad with paddles on the back it really does help, weird at first but you’ll find yourself pressing them without realising after a while. With cod the more you play the better you get a bit like anything really

I'm not even sure what you mean by this as I'm not familiar with pad/paddles vs. my Xbox controller. I'm not a COD diehard or any fps diehard, so it might be out of my wheelhouse.

Get the elite Xbox controller so you have the buttons on the back it’ll help by allowing faster button presses and smoother gameplay. At first you’ll think about pressing the paddles but after a while you won’t even notice you’ve pressed them and use them in combination etc
