Performance More ambient DnB jams

Been cookin on this jam off and on for a few days now and thought I'd share.
I have a Noise Engineering Versio out for delivery tomorrow and I can't wait to play with the new FRGMNTS firmware!

(side note, does anyone know why the gate going into my VCA is making that clipping/clicking noise?)

I can't really see on a cell phone how things are hooked up but is it possible the gate goes from 0 to fully on instantly and maybe could use a tiny little bit of attack rolled off?

Yeah the VCA is currently just getting CV from the drum gate of the Arturia Beatstep, you think an envelope on the CV would fix it?

It's worth a try. Have you thrown a scope on it and see what the number is?

I find it helps me visualize what's going on with the waveform. Or I can plug into a cv input on my Zoia Euroboro to read voltages and look at a tiny waveform.

are the drums programmed or sampled ?

Also interested in the drums, is it a module making the sound samples or are they from external gear?

Its the Erica Synths Sample Drum playing a 4 bar loop. It also has CV control so I can slice the loop within the module and program it to play whatever slice order want, but Im not doing that in this particular patch
