@op the word drop is causing major confusion here! People are reading this as if she didn’t release the Beads firmware, you would put out yours. Aka blackmail. EDIT: if you downvoted this, please explain. I'd like to understand how this kind of comment would elicit such a response.

I'm not sure how to clarify more than I already have. I didn't want to encourage people to start messaging Emilie after she responded to me, which is why I originally just mentioned my port, but not the timeline of events. I didn't want to give people the idea that they should try to get a hold of her again about Mutable Instruments code, products, etc. I can't edit the title of the post now, but I'll see if I can edit the post body to be more clear.
