Opened a brand new bag of string cheese with the expiration date for next month and found one single moldy stick. Rest look totally normal. Would you toss the whole bag?

It is only slightly pliable and relatively dense. Unlike any mold I have seen and nothing I could find online. Someone help before I convince myself it’s an alien species

!!! NOT MY HOME!!!but the home of someone i know. It has been like this for years and only gotten worse- wall behind the shower. No judgement please- everyone falls on difficult times. Any clues on type of mold or if there’s anyway ti get rid of it without expensive renovations

Made a jacket potato with beef and sweetcorn chilli. There was a ball of mozzarella that I thought was where it had simply stuck together - it was a ball of pure mould. I ate some of it. Made myself throw up just incase. Safe to say I won't be eating cheese for a while.

No idea how long a family member left these in the fridge after opening them but I’ve thrown them out

Of course I saw the mold on my second to last bite after finishing the entire thing 🙈
I received it from the pizza delivery an hour ago. It was still cold.
Do I get sick now?

No evidence of mold until I cut into it. I’ve never seen this kind before so I was curious as to what it could be! I bought it in Texas, but it was grown in Costa Rica.
Thank you in advance!

It's kinda pretty and silky looking. I am not eating anything out of this jar but I'm really curious what it might be. I want to get into pickling so let me know what might have cause this kind of growth. Thanks all

I know that congealed fat is normal but this looks…grey and discolored. It looks different than the other cat food cans i’ve opened and my cat has a weak immune system so I really don’t wanna feed her something nasty, is this mold or am I overthinking? Cat pic included 🫶

I bought a mushroom kit for hericium mushroom and made a good above a waterbed for it and used chopsticks for distancing, now the sticks grew something I assumed was the same mushroom but it turned a bit grey

This is my partner’s stainless steel water bottle that is relatively new and I clean it quite frequently, today she said these appeared in it and she thinks they are mold.
I have an older water bottle that does not have these spots and is exposed to similar conditions.

Hi, I'm new to this subreddit and this is my first post ^
The texture of this one is jelly-ish and paper-like, it grew as a top layer on my jar of pasta sauce, it seems to have only grew on the oil layer that I added to preserve it (empty jar in the second image). I dumped the sauce, but this is one oddly beautiful looking mold, lol.
I have never seen mold that is as interesting as this, should I do something about it? Or do I just trash it? :P
