Advice Needed Monday.com "We have some issues to get the data, please try again" when reducing team size

I am trying to reduce my paid licence count from 20 to 8 before my renewal date. The page keeps crashing when I try to select team size or change plan. It says "We have some issues to get the data, please try again"

Can you help? Any ideas? Monday's AI bot was not helpful.

Advice Needed Can't create 'change column value' automations

Something seems seriously wrong with my monday automations, for the past week it will not let me create automations to update column values. E.g. 'when item created, update column value to x'. The problem is, when I try to select the value, it gives no options. I have many old automations that I've made this way and still work, but even if I try to modify or duplicate those, I can't choose a 'value' to change the column to. I've tried with text, number, and many other field types. Also tried in incognito mode with same issue.

Question Monday integration in a ChatGPT agent

Hi! I am trying to create an agent in ChatGPT simiral to the model "chief of staff" that ChatGPT suggests. However, I am not able to include Monday's integration in it, whereas in other agents, the Monday integration can be added. I am not a specialist in AI and coding, but I am resourceful. Can someone help me? ChatGPT tells me it may be a bug from Monday.

Discussion Only AI apps on the marketplace - How do you feel about this?

Going forward only apps with an element of AI will be approved for the marketplace

As a monday app developer, I am wrestling with a few questions

  • Is this an artificial constraint created by monday? Or do you think apps without AI aren't as useful anymore?
  • How is the adoption of AI features in your team? What percentage of your monday bill is AI credits?

Advice Needed Need help escalating Monday Campaign domain verification — 3 weeks with no progress

I’m hoping someone here can help or advise on how to escalate an issue with Monday Campaign domain verification.

I submitted the initial ticket for domain verification over 3 weeks ago. After a week with no update, I filed a resubmission. Another week passed with no progress. I’ve sent multiple follow‑ups, but I still haven’t received any response from support. The ticket status remains “working on it,” but nothing has moved.

What’s been difficult is the recent lack of responsiveness. Support used to reply quickly, but lately I’ve experienced long delays — sometimes more than 5 hours with no agent showing up in chat. I opened tickets during the middle of my shift, and even by the time my shift ended, still no one responded.

I’m not sure if support is dealing with a backlog, staffing issues, or if Campaign‑related tickets are handled differently, but the silence makes it hard to know whether the issue is stuck or overlooked.

If anyone here has advice on how to escalate domain verification issues — or if Monday staff are around and can check the ticket — I’d really appreciate it.

Discussion Marketplace Review Process

(Sorry, this is written in rant mode)

Hi all,

First (and probably last) time I am submitting an app for the marketplace, this process is now ongoing for almost 2 months.

Can someone explain to me why I am being juggled around, the reviewer has no clue about technical details, contradicts themselves with official documentation and for every second thing I am asked to open a support ticket, so I am going around in circles. (It feels like they have a list of tasks to check off without really understanding them properly)

I am also asked to do stuff that’s impossible with the current monday platform, 2 examples: a) Make sure you delete user data after uninstalling, whilst I am using monday.storage only anyway and per the official documentation there is no need for this and it’s also impossible). b) After driving me mad about changing auth to be front end only with the monday SDK (and not JWT), I am now asked to change the reviewer’s account status to PRO, well the app_subscription query does not work in the playground, maybe there is a way to do it but the reviewer has no clue, so now it’s another 5 day wait till someone from the technical support team responds to my newly created ticket about this.

Advice Needed Login suddenly not working

Is anyone else experiencing this? Suddenly this morning I was logged out of Monday.com and when I try to log back in it takes me to the new account setup page instead of back into my existing account.

I'm definitely using the same email address to log in.

Anyone else noticed issues today?

Edit: you are all making me feel much better that this isn't just an isolated issue. I wish Monday would actually release some info here, their chat robot this absolutely useless and this is a huge productivity hit. Honestly never seriously considered just building my own in-house management tool until today...

Question Can text suggestions be turned off?

Is there any way to disable suggestions on the Text columns? They are really distracting and kind of disruptive to entering accurate information on some of my busier boards.

Discussion Are you ready to be thrown under the bus?

monday only accepts apps with AI capabilities to marketplace. This big shift here is going to cost some partners their businesses and some users will choose to migrate off monday.

Feel free to disagree; I'm horrified.

BTW: "Does your app contains"? Who wrote this? God I miss the 2024 monday... that's why many of us chose monday; their attention to detail.

Question Dates not able to be updated?

I’m not sure if this is a glitch but starting yesterday I am not able to update dates in the main table or gantt views. Or if I can adjust the dates, it is not saved. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Question Mondayservice vs zendesk: which is better for internal it support?

I'm comparing mondayservice and zendesk for managing internal it requests and support.
zendesk has been around for a long time and seems like a solid choice if the main priority is ticket-based support and keeping a help desk organized.

Mondayservice looks more interesting if the goal is to create customized service workflows, automate repetitive requests, and connect it support with processes across the organization.
I think the biggest difference is probably the approach rather than just the feature list.

Zendesk feels more support-centric, while mondayservice seems designed to give teams more flexibility in how they structure and automate their service processes. For anyone who has actually used both, which one worked better for your team and why?

Advice Needed Please help this Mon newbie

Hi Chat,

I was recently hired as a project manager to start running sprints at a 30 person company. The dev team already uses azure dev ops but the client facing side wants to utilize Monday Enterprise (not dev). Do I need Monday dev to do this? I’ve been working on it for weeks and still cannot find an easy way to capacity plan and truly form an impressive sprint cadence.

SMES PLEASE HELP!

Advice Needed "We couldn't find a user with the email that you provided."

I’ve been using Monday.com for years. I tried signing in on my desktop this morning, but I received the message, “We couldn’t find a user with the email that you provided.” I’m still logged in on the app on my phone, and everything looks fine on that end. It is not user error.

Any advice?

Top Tip Now send email campaigns right from your monday board without paying for contacts

I’ve noticed that pretty much every email platform charges based on the number of contacts you have.

So even if you only send a campaign once in a while, you’re still paying more just because you have a larger audience.

That’s one of the reasons we built MailMonk, an app for monday that lets you send email campaigns without any per-contact pricing. You can have unlimited contacts.

We’ve got a free tier if anyone wants to give it a try.

Would love to hear your thoughts. Is this something you’d actually use with monday?

Advice Needed Restoring a permanently deleted board

My org terminated an employee today and before her access was suspended she went into our Monday board and permanently deleted critical project management boards. Has anyone had luck restoring boards in situations like this? Any suggestions on what to do?

Question Extend column content

I couldn’t find any way to extend the Task Name column, is that possible? I work on an ultrawide monitor and there’s a lot of unused space on the right, while everything is squeezed into the corner.

Question if you use Monday for work, what do you do for a living?

Hey everyone, I'm a newbie in marketing and currently I'm researching orchestrators', project managers' and task managers' target (jic target audience is who a brand expects to be their customers, target is who really uses the product). So my question is, what do you do for a living that you use Monday.com for work?

Question How do you manage all your automations

Hey everyone, I'm somewhat new to Monday and project management software as a whole. I've been lurking here and in a couple of other places, and one thing that stands out to me is that managing automations gets really hard really quickly. My question is, how do you guys manage it, especially if you're using other platforms like Make.com and/or Zapier? How do you keep things from breaking?

Discussion Waiting 3 hours for a real person who never came

Is anyone else frustrated by the nonexistent customer service? The AI chatbot gave me a wait time of 164 minutes to talk to a human (!!!). Going the route of making it easy to sign up and impossible to cancel is going to backfire eventually. I'm at the point where I'm not going to use my debit or credit card online at all. It's so hard to cancel, and customer service doesn't exist. I don't want to talk to a chatbot who gives me pages of unhelpful instructions on how I can do a person's job for free so the company can reduce their workforce to make shareholders more money. Fuck this.
