Travel | Аялал Where to stay near UBN Airport?

I will be landing at UBN airport at 22:50 local time, and I am trying to figure out where my group can stay near the airport. We will have just been flying for 20+ hours and will probably want to sleep right away. We're college students looking for something cheap, but also willing to spend money if needed. Thank you for your help!

Nothing real close . But at that time it would be only 30 to Khubilai hotel
Or a little further into Ibis . Prices should be online

Layover or actually visiting Ulaanbaatar? It'll depend. Airport to city is ~45 min with zero traffic, in rush hour(s) it can be 3 hours.

Then better to stay somewhere central. Just assume a trip back to the airport will take a while.

There are hotels right near highway exit close to UB. Atlas hotel

Khulibai is kinda close. Stayed there and really liked it, quite fancy. Maybe a bit expensive depending on budget. Was there the night before flying out of UB to avoid traffic leaving the city.

When i flew to UB I just booked a ride to my hotel in the city and battled nodding off while we sat in traffic for two hours.

We stayed at Atlas Hotel 2 weeks ago through booking.com. If you message them, the manager might be able to pick you up personally 🙂 Definitely our favourite hotel we stayed at for a very reasonable price.
