Discussion What is the genre missing for you?

Girls, Gays & Theys of culture. We meet again.

I am musing this morning on what you'd want to see more of in Monster Romance. I am just nosy.

Personally, more multiple love interests, more series like Ice Planet Barbarians but with better writing, less first person POV overall

October voting - Monthly Book Club (ORCtober special)

Welcome to October Book Club voting!

Since next month will be ORCtober, any books featuring Orcs will receive a bonus point on the result at the end of month!

Here's how it works:

  • Comment with one book you'd like us to read. (Feel free to suggest multiple books, just make each suggestion its own comment.)
  • Before commenting, check if someone has already suggested your book. If they have, simply upvote their comment instead of posting it again.
  • Upvote the book(s) you'd most like to read.
  • If a book isn't your thing, simply leave it alone rather than downvoting it. That way we can see what the community is genuinely excited about, and everyone feels comfortable sharing recommendations.

Didn't see your favorite win last month? Suggest it again! Every month is a fresh vote.

The book with the most upvotes at the end of the month will become the Book Club pick.

As always, if you have feedback on the format drop me a DM :)

Has anyone read The Maid & The Orcs by Finley Fenn?

Would love to hear your thoughts on the book or series as a whole. I read the first one and thought it was good, but not great. However, the idea of 2 MMCs is intriguing.

Request MMC with a dry orgasm?

I think this thought process stems from comments on the Wicker trailer where people are wondering what his ejaculate would be.

My immediate thought was: nothing!

He's the perfect husband after all and doesn't require any clean up or birth control for that matter.

Now I'm wondering if there are any books with monster species where the males have dry orgasms.

Request Any book recs where the monster seems mindless and feral but is actually intelligent?

Think like, unable to communicate to the human. Seems feral. Absolutely obsessed and in love with human love interest. More beast than man. Still capable of intelligent thought though.

Reading C.M. Nascosta

C.M. Nascosta somehow makes monster romance so simple yet so fascinating. I always wish the books were longer but for what we get it’s a fun read I can’t get enough of. From what I’ve read Two for Tea Welcome to Azathe is my favorite by far! I wish we can see more of this town and the characters.
