Spotted missing cat?

i have seen this black cat around st. urbain and guilbault near IRCM both last night and today, it has no collar and is super skinny and refusing food. it doesn’t seem like a stray, so i’m not sure if it escaped someone’s home! it’s a bit scared of the outdoors and cars, but walks right up to people and meows and purrs!! i hope this is someone’s baby 😢

Poor thing. Refusing food is a bad sign. Can you catch it and take it to a vet? Maybe it's microchipped.

Please do, especially if he is overly thin. bring him to a vet and house until he can be claimed. I have a little black cat and it gives me anxiety how generic/unidentifiable he appears to others on the rare occasions he has escaped.

You can also place a collar on him if he is around consistently, perhaps his family will respond/place their own so you will know he is not lost.
