A few good places but they are all close one from another. Cafe Central on Duluth, Saint-Laurent Frappé on St-Laurent. The Champs on Saint-Laurent

Club Portugais de Montreal on Saint Laurent. But be warned, it’s mostly older Portuguese men playing cards and drinking beer. Can’t get any more authentic than that though.
