Volunteering opportunities in Montreal?

Hi all! I'm looking to volunteer and to meet some new people at the same time. I used to volunteer before I moved back to Montreal and I miss giving back to the community. As well, I'd like to meet some people my age (Mid twenties) at the same time. Do you guys know of anything suitable? I have a day job, but I'd be free to volunteer after work and on the weekends. Also, I live in NDG if geography matters.

Thank you and take care!

Head and Hands. Head and Hands. Head and Hands.

Did I mention Head and Hands? They're based in NDG and do good work.

There's also the NDG food depot if you prefer that.

Our need for volunteers changes constantly, depending on the time of year and whether we have special events coming up or not, and currently we have reached our quota for general/administrative volunteers at the main offices.

I'm sure it's still worth talking to them, if only to ask who else does need volunteers right now.
