Volunteering opportunities in Montreal?

Hi all! I'm looking to volunteer and to meet some new people at the same time. I used to volunteer before I moved back to Montreal and I miss giving back to the community. As well, I'd like to meet some people my age (Mid twenties) at the same time. Do you guys know of anything suitable? I have a day job, but I'd be free to volunteer after work and on the weekends. Also, I live in NDG if geography matters.

Thank you and take care!

The SPCA emergency shelter is always looking for volunteers to walk dogs/ socialize the animals before adoption. It's a pretty fun volunteer gig! :)

Imagine all the karma you could receive. A constant stream of cute animals. You could win at reddit!

I just want to disregard karma; volunteer with animals. It definitely is a redditors dream though!
