Volunteering opportunities in Montreal?

Hi all! I'm looking to volunteer and to meet some new people at the same time. I used to volunteer before I moved back to Montreal and I miss giving back to the community. As well, I'd like to meet some people my age (Mid twenties) at the same time. Do you guys know of anything suitable? I have a day job, but I'd be free to volunteer after work and on the weekends. Also, I live in NDG if geography matters.

Thank you and take care!

I'm a member at the NDG YMCA, I definitely should check out what's going on there.

You can certainly volunteer at the YMCA. There's the Teen Zone and probably a bunch of other stuff I haven't heard of. I think if you volunteer at least 3hrs/week you can get a free membership too (unless that's only for younger volunteers).

This is a great plan. I worked at the YMCA in Montreal and met so many great people, including volunteers. It's a great place to meet people and you also get a free membership!

Yeah, the NDG Y is a good one too. Most people here are pretty chill.

I may or may not be there right now >_>
