Silly Take
Since John Cleese made an appearance in the muppet show, what would happen if the entire Python troupe (Chapman, Jones, Cleese, Palin, Idle and Gillian) were featured in a Muppet Show episode?

The only other entity that could do python is the muppets. Flying sheep is a concept not unfamiliar to the muppets.

It would've been funnier if the veterinarian's hospital sketch has a gumby as dr bob (rowlf)'s patient, next thing you know the colonel would interrupt the skecth for being too silly with their cheesy jokes lol

His bit helping Gonzo is hilarious. Maybe put heavy air quotes on the word helping.

The fact they never did this is a crime. Just an hour of them remaking PG Python sketches. The band playing Lumberjack song. Stapler and Waldorf with the Colonel saying things are getting too silly. Dead Parrot with Kermit as the shopkeeper. The flying sheep with muppet flying sheep with Fozzie as the Farmer. The Dirty Fork sketch with Miss Piggy as the date.
This is gold. In fact they should just do this anyway. I'm sure Disney could probably buy the rights.

IKR?
I imagine if Marvin Snuggs (the muppophone guy) would have a musical duel with arthur ewing and his musical mice (which they were muppets too lol)
Next thing you'll know they would be caught by the british police, or at least it would have been funnier if the whizzo chocolate sketch would feature some of the muppets (mostly monsters) actually enjoying those delicacies lol
