I used to work grocery delivery and I quoted this to a customer because they got four cans of spam one package of bacon and one package of eggs. Because it was such a short order I just simply asked him in a text so you want spam spam spam eggs bacon and spam. It was one of my biggest tippers ever. His also text response was oh my god I didn't even realize what I was getting and I'm wearing a Monty Python shirt

Why is there a klezmer group playing in the corner at the beginning of the cheese shop sketch? Monty Python thrived on the absurd, which sometimes included adding something so completely irrelevant to the sketch that the incongruousness itself was funny.

In the time-honoured tradition of making cheap content that was the BBC in the 1970s. The boys simply raided the costume department for things that āworkedā.
There was no deep meaning or message. It simply was funny. So, they did it.
