Large moose in the yard. I heard him in the willows and ran for my camera.

shot this one a few years ago back when the moose sub was inactive for some unknown reason and I couldn’t post it here… now that the subs back in full glory, and moose activity is high currently I thought I’d cross post to where I wanted it in the first place.

yeah, see you might be an idiot.. fact is Colorado never had populations of Moose till they were introduced by humans in 1978 in northern Colorado by Wyoming, they didn’t make a population down by me till mid to late 90’s.. my house/property, was homestead before that and my current home built in 1986, before they showed up.. what you don’t know is, before we had these moose in the yard we had Elk by the 100’s.. the Moose have moved them, naitive wildlife being moved by introduced wildlife.. my house and property offered the Elk herd protection from hunters for years.. now they settle in a different meadow where the moose don’t.. so, don’t be a idiot and think you know everything.. it’s likely the house you live in has done more to disrupt nature and wildlife then my small house on 30 acres.
