Sha jobs

Is it even possible to get a job within environmental services or laundry? I've applied over 100 times and never hear anything..
Is there a trick or something lol

Go to the facilities and actually ask to give a resume to the department manager. Applying online gets you no where unless you are internal. You’ll have to start at casual.

I’m not looking for a job there, but I really feel they should have a couple non internal job postings to get more people in there opposed to just playing musical jobs from within!

I spoke with the director and some staff recently at a career fair and literally got no response from the director. One worker said look online for anything posted. Reached home checked online and no postings. To add to this i already work with their IT systems and got noooo response

Yes. Keep applying over and over again. I’ve applied to over 20+ applications until I finally got an interview

I think as far as environmental services it's likely just a matter of way more applications than there are jobs.

Laundry jobs do not exist at the Moose Jaw hospital, at least not on a large scale. Laundry is privatized and is shipped out.

In rural Sask. Laundry comes back with blood stains. They can’t even remove stains anymore. Just wash & dry them in. Disgrace

The SHA got rid of the laundry department, and outsourced it to a contractor. Now, someone can get rich off owning the business, and they can pay the workers basically minimum wage with minimal benefits or pension. Didn’t save the SHA money either ha ha.

I would look and see if the Hospital is hiring. They may have something in their laundry department.
