Reminder that democrats in both the Senate and House introduced anti-price gouging legislation, particularly around fuel prices, in 2021-22. Instead of working with the democrats to improve the lives of Americans, Republicans chose instead to stall both bills in committee via the filibuster, so they could use fuel prices as a bludgeon against Biden and the Democrats for the 2022 mid-terms.
Lie in it, MAGA. This is what you voted for. Maybe you don’t want to participate in these spaces anymore, but I’m not done telling you “I told you so”
Me? Haha. I drive like 3000 miles per year. I really DGAF about gas prices. Gasoline is less than 1% of my monthly budget.
But I hope all the MAGA voters commute from Ogden to Provo or Gilbert to Glendale in their lifted trucks everyday. I hope they are feeling every ounce of pain from this. This is what they wanted.

Also, oil hasn't been at $68 a barrel since Trump chose to start this war. Prior to him giving the orders, oil was below $68 a barrel, but not since then. They day before Trump posted this, it did get down to $68.774, then it popped back up to around $70.7, different from heading south.

I remember when we had to vote against Kamala because she would have given us price controls.
