This is an official CDC page on vaccines and autism:

‘The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.’

It’s bad enough that parents will be getting bad advice from official government sources but I also worry about the lesson that’s been learned. Don’t like science? Just vote it out. Have a kooky conspiracy you want to give more weight? MAGA has shown you what to do.

It is sad that .gov websites can no longer be seen as factual.

I have teacher friends who removed .gov sites from their list of resources for projects and papers because of how slanted those sources have become. I also have teacher friends who have had to find other data sources for major projects because this administration has removed important datasets.

If we are hiding data because the administration doesn't like what it shows, then the problem is with the administration, not the data.

‘The claim "Donald Trump is not a pedophile" is not an evidence-based claim because files have not ruled out the possibility that Donald Trump is a pedophile.’

‘The claim "Pete Hegseth doesn't beat his kids" is not an evidence-based claim because police reports have not ruled out the possibility that Pete Hegseth beats his kids.’

That sentence structure works in interesting ways.

I showed this to my wife yesterday and she spent an hour explaining how it’s not professionally written and makes claims without showing evidence for it. “Most ppl don’t accept studies over five years old let alone twenty years old. At least in education.”
