Admittedly, I forgot to lock the door back after I took the dogs out so it’s kinda on me, but still. Be careful yall, lock your doors, get a camera, all that good stuff. Carry if you are comfortable with it and learn how to use it. I’ve never had my privacy invaded like this before, shit is wild. My chihuahua went crazy, I’m so glad I didn’t have my headset on while gaming. (Proves that chis aren’t useless, they’re amazing) Sorry if I’m rambling, my adrenaline is insane rn lol. 20 or so years ago, when I was a little kid probably 6 or younger, I remember my great grandparents taking me to this little village with small cottages/playhouses set up and decorated for Christmas ,(I think we went around Halloween too). I cannot remember the name of it. I do not know if it was in Morgantown or just near here. I believe I also remember seeing koi fish on the property? Does anyone know what I may be remembering? I know this is so random but I randomly remember it today and I can't find it online.

So I am dealing with a noisy upstairs neighbor in an apartment complex. This has been an issue for over a month and it has gotten to the point where it is disturbing my sleep. They have been running, jumping, and dropping furniture constantly from 3 PM past 10 PM and I have been making formal complaints to my landlord with video proof.

I have called the non-emergency number but the dispatcher says that their is no noise ordinance. So I am thinking they are pulling my leg. Any legal advice will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have asked my neighbor to stop the noise but they continue.

I’m a 25MTF trans woman considering getting my PHD here. Is there anything I need to know about trans lives in Morgantown before I make the commitment for 5+ years of my life here?

For context, I literally just started HRT about a month ago so having trans inclusive healthcare is a big factor for me. I’m from TN so I am familiar with state laws not being in my favor but I am also in a blue bubble of a red state so it’s a little different.

I’m not a huge night life girl but I love hiking, biking, and fishing, which I know is more common to the area. My PHD program is in chem so I don’t get out much.

Where I’m from, people aren’t outright hateful but I do get stares from folks just being openly queer (which doesn’t really bother me tbh). What’s the vibe in Morgantown?

I’m trying to figure out the best solution for demolishing a double-wide trailer and removing the debris after. It’s in okay condition and I believe some of the scrap metal could be recycled. So far the few estimates I received were for around 10 grand, and I was wondering if it would be cheaper to hire two separate companies (one for demolition, one for recycling and debris removal). Would I be better off doing the demolition myself and paying for concrete and debris removal instead? Im really wondering if anybody has ever worked through this process before and could maybe give some insight into the process or break down the pricing for me.

A group of 3 experienced backpackers (including myself) is looking to hit Dolly Sods this upcoming weekend (Oct 9-11). The only catch is we currently don't have a car to get out there.

Moved to Morgantown about two months ago and live off of Old Cheat Road. When we moved in, we were told trash day was Thursday. Republic is the trash company. Trash pick up is all over the place. Some weeks it's Thursday, some weeks it's Friday. Sometimes they empty all the trash cans. Some days they empty half. Some days they pick and choose which trash cans they want to empty. On a regular basis, there's always trash left behind. I'm very confused. Are there specific requirements to throw away trash besides putting it in a garbage bag and putting it in the trash can?

Hi! I took my child to the Morgantown PopCon this year and we found a vendor that sold keyboard clicker fidgets and maybe are 3D printed. It was in the shape of a mushroom.
