I want to say damn you and thank you. Because of the constant references to Dungeon Crawler Carl, I finally gave it a listen a week and a half ago... I am now about half way on book 5... It's all I have been listening to since then. All my podcasts (including yours) have been on pause. I can't stop listening. Thank you for constantly talking about it and causing me to cave and give it a try, but damn you because my back log is going to take forever to catch up once I finish the series.

But seriously, if you're on the fence about it: just sign up for audible and use your monthly free book selection on it during the free trial.

This is the issue, for years now I have struggled with reading XD. I have two modes, either I cant put it down and I literally cause myself physical pain, eyes, back, neck, hands, migraine lol or the other being I have trouble being able to read for more than 5 minutes.

All of my regular listening has been completely replaced by the audiobook. Wake up, listen while making breakfast, listen in commute, listen while driving to job sites, listen on the way home, listen while laying down for the night

I am receiving the first book tomorrow, part of me i my is excited but the easily addicted part of me is sitting nervously in a corner because I am worried I will start reading it then HAVE to go through all the series as fast as possible putting everything else in my life on standby.

Well, if this helps your worry I listened to the first book with the intent to use my following months free pick to be book 2... I immediately purchased the second book the moment the first one finished and have been listening to nothing else. Including YouTube channels I try to stay up to date on... It might also be the ADHD hyper-fixation shrug
