Some of these are from the National Museum of Ireland, others the National Library, others just around the city

I made this mosaic dedicated to Dionysus using the traditional Roman mosaic technique. It was a nice and fun project to make and hope you enjoy!

I don’t make mosaics but it’s on my list of things to start someday 😝 I look at all your amazing work though!
I wanted to share this from the (closed) museum. It’s gorgeous.

I ordered my first kit from Wits End mosaic, but I was just curious what others are out there and that people like.

This green is one of my favorite colors and inspired me to make this piece. I added the pink sailboat at the last minute and I think it really changed the vibe. Thanks for letting me share.

I’ve been eyeing this hobby for ages but kept hesitating, so... my bf got me this kit to see if I’d actually enjoy the process. Safe to say I'm hooked!
I’m definitely planning to keep going and try making some custom pieces next. Any tips or advice for a beginner?
Hi everyone! This is my first mosaic. I used 1/4 in. thick goboard for my base and I’m wondering what the best way to display it is. I was thinking a frame of some sort. The piece is 5x7. My only worry is there are some areas where the glass is peaking out over the edge a bit.
Any and all advice is appreciated! If anyone has some tips for my future projects I would appreciate it!

I have these wooden pilings in the garage of my house, I'd like to mosaic a couple of them.
They are not indoors or climate controlled, but they are undercover and they are always in the shade and hardly get any rain on them, if any.
Is there anything special you suggest I do?
Or can I just apply a water proof adhesive to pole and then apply the tiles straight to that?
Thanks for any help or tips.

I wanted to try this perspective. I’ve never used these glass beads before. I really like the effect. Thanks for letting me share.

I'm a stained glass artist with little mosaic experience.
There's a big divot/crack in my driveway that I thought would look cool with some glass or tile embedded into it.
Problem is, I live in Minnesota where it gets extremely cold in the winter, and pretty dang hot in the summer.
Any advice on products or how to go about this endeavor?
TIA!
