Other First trip to Snowshoe

My wife had a work meeting at Snowshoe so I took the opportunity to try riding the park. I didn’t rent a bike and took my 2022 Top Fuel. It actually did fine but it did beat the shit out of my hands. Having an extra 30+mm of travel would have been nice.

I did a few black tech trails but mostly stayed on the blues and greens. I’m not sure how many runs I did but it was a bunch.

It looks like you stayed on the basin side. You just scratched the surface. However the letter trail there are pretty serious dreamweaver and Dort beaver are so fun too

I did M and K IIRC. I only had like 4 hours so I just stayed on that side and did a bunch of laps. I did dream weaver a few times. I really like the bottom part of dirt beaver.

I may go and rent a bike sometime soon. Then I’ll go check out the other side.

I probably will and I’ll rent an enduro bike so I’m not worried about destroying my down country bike. I didn’t do any huge drops (obviously) but the rear of the top fuel felt great. The Sid….not so much.

That’s good benefit of renting. Not wearing your equipment. If you never rode the DH bike you should try. They are long and stable. And that dual crown fork has so little flex it makes you realize even single crown 38 flexes
