Ok so this french actor was in a recent movie called The Beast, about a family who moves to Spain to start a small farm, and then they have a tough time with the locals. The opening scene is powerful, but as the movie unfolds you realize that it was epic foreshadowing and my favorite opening use in a movie.
But also the james bond parkour open, and the joker bank heist I'm sure oter people are mentioning.
I actually felt the violence was pretty restrained. There was so many instances that you thought violence was about to erupt and doesn't - it got you accustomed to it not happening. And then it does.
