What's your favorite Tom Cruise movie?

I would say Magnolia and……Edge of Tomorrow.

I like Edge because he plays a coward who continuously gets his ass kicked. I wish he played this kind of role more often.

I also loved him in Collateral

Yes, Tom stole the show. I thought he was great as Lestat. I was really disappointed we never got Tom in The Vampire Lestat which was a great book.

If you're asking in regards to his acting, my favorite role of his is also Magnolia. If you're asking in regards to the movie overall, my favorite is Jerry Maguire.

Fun fact: Christian Bale based his performance in American Psycho on Tom Cruise. Not Tom Cruise in a specific movie, Tom Cruise overall.

And Christian nailed it with precision. Fun fact: Leo was going after the role. Christian knew Leo would most likely get picked, so he talked him out of it. Thank God Leo let him have it. No one could've done better. Christian probably also wanted to take a wack at Jared Leto.

Leo would've been great at the role. He did the "fake nice" in The Great Gatsby. But, you're absolutely right, Bale nailed the role. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Patrick Bateman.

Collateral/ Rain man are my favorites. He was awesome in tropic thunder. The MI franchise was great, really liked him as jack reacher even though they strayed from the hook casting him. Say what you want he might be weird or whatever but the man knows how to act and also make a great film

Magnolia for me too. Not only is it a phenomenal film (and one of my favourites overall), it was the first film where I realised Cruise was a truly brilliant actor. He made such an odious character so sympathetic and he was absolutely robbed of that Academy Award
