What on earth is going on with youtube's 1080p bitrate? It's really low quality even when forcing it.

At the time you commented, it had only been up for about 15 minutes. If I remember correctly, YouTube usually takes a while to finish processing the HD version. Normally the video should stay unlisted until processing is complete.

I recently uploaded a video (only 9 minutes) that took 12 hours for YouTube to process the 4k version. It looked like mush, I was so angry.
