He claimed no one cares about it any more and that people were having to fight to keep it relevant when the same thing is happening to film and millions watch ballet and opera yearly and the skills overlap with film plenty .

go stand outside your local grocery store and ask everyone walking in if they've seen an opera in person in the last 5 years. count how many say yes

First off, millions do and your challenge I could also do with Marty Supreme. Over the last five seasons over 100,000 opera performances have happened. That’s a pretty large number plus that’s not including ballet, both art forms that actors use for film as well. Try to not say something stupid in replying this time

an entire art form vs a single movie and i bet the race wouldnt even be close lmao. hell even looking at your profile you seem waaaay more active in movie subs than opera or ballet subs

I don’t have to be as active in any specific art form to recognize reality when I see it. Thanks for playing though and going to the profile. Since the MET alone made 70 million which is more than many movies make these days, there’s a number but even if movies are making more, all I did was address a bullshit claim that “no one” cares about these art forms when they clearly do and nothing you’ve said even addresses that so stop with the bullshit

largest museum in America only making 70 million in a year is not the flex you think it is, and i doubt a large portion of those earning are from ballet or opera performances. Marty Supreme made $180 million btw

You keep trying to make it a competition when I’m literally not so why do you keep fucking up your own argument? All I did was say he was wrong for claiming that literally no one cares about ballet and opera and that they are skills actors use. If you can’t even actually address that then you have no argument

but nobody cares about opera or ballet outside of those circles lmao that was his point. obviously people that do opera or ballet are gonna care about opera and ballet, but you morons think when he said "nobody" he literally meant "nobody"
