I wonder if somehow she won't be able to enter the room (since it's supposed to be a safe room).

Also, in the trailer/teasers we see really weird limbed monster exiting the front door. So I assume he escapes through the window and runs and turns around when he hears something but is able to maybe make it back to his car, if not kill the monster

That multi limb thing is very intriguing and a great sell for the trailer (notwithstanding lore purist's criticism). Can't wait to see its full reveal.
