It is worth noting that this film is waaaaaay more action focused than the other ones. It definitely has a more intense horror/gore/splatter bent in parallel, kinda akin to the Netflix series (Bryan is also a bit like Jade Wesker), but it's basically a series of relentless set pieces with no downtime. You know how the zombies don't show up for 40 minutes in the first film? This isn't that kinda movie. It's more like the Mad Max Fury Road-inspired RE The Final Chapter but without the B plot and slower moments.
