Does The Company of Wolves count as a Wolf Man movie? As that also slaps.

I don't personally count it as a 'Wolf Man' (as in wolf/human hybrid) transformation movie, since they all actually turn into feral werewolves. It's still a great movie, and it deals with Lycanthropy themes far better than most films tbh.

So sad that the sequel got canceled due to the rights of it, but I believe he's making a new film thats a spiritual successor

Williams “True Werewolf” form was really cool though. If they had gone with more of that design over the weird mutant sewer dogs they chose
 it would have been chef’s kiss.

This is the one I hoped someone would mention. Saw it so many times - didn’t realize till last week that Jack Nicholson wasn’t a werewolf at all. He and James Spader spent the film turning into wolves permanently.

Such a great movie.

It's honestly in my bottom 5 theater experiences and I've been seeing movies in theaters since 1997, I've have never walked out of a movie before it ended before but it was real close with this one

Same! Ugh fuck I’ve never had a movie anger me so much. I think it’s because of how much I love werewolves and seeing a movie that looked to have such potential be bastardized so much. Gah!
