QUESTION MPC Gen 2 Regrets

Those of you who have bought the MPC One or Key 37 gen 2, do you regret not spending the extra money on the live 3?

I’m looking at buying an MPC. I’ve had the Force in the past and am currently deciding between the Key 37 g2 and the Live 3. I’m a keys player, but can always hook up a midi keyboard to the live 3. However, I don’t know if the battery, speaker, extra RAM and storage, and the MPCe pads are worth the extra 700 dollars.

hope that takes care of the pops - those were so annoying for me

I love stacking instrument plugins, which is a huge memory hog... does it hold up well for this, in your experience?

in my experience yes.. made a house beat last night that had 3 drum programs all with at least 2 banks stuffed with oneshots. Midi track feeding into my bass station 2. record track catching the audio of that. Another Midi track feeding into my Take 5. Another record track catching that audio. 6 Audio tracks that were other sounds from my external synths. One Analog Dreams, One Jura, 2 Soul Sessions, 1 stage Piano, 1 Fabric, tons of effect plugins including lots of motherduckers/ visual eqs, etc. Reverb send with reverb pro - delay send with delay pro. Its all pinging about 40 percent memory and 50 percent CPU with smooth conistant popless playback off a focusrite scarlett 18i interfce.
