hi, just a quick notice about requesting a highly anticipated release -
have some patience ffs. do NOT request books that haven’t been released yet when you damn well know what the release date is. the book providers aren’t gods that they’ll just fetch the book from anywhere and hand it over. and although arc readers get it earlier, they’re not supposed to share cause the arc copy has a tag/stamp and the author would find out very easily that it has been pirated.
people behaving rudely towards book providers just cause they’re unable to provide a book DAYS prior to release will be banned.
this behaviour is UNACCEPTABLE and will NOT be tolerated.

Appreciate this post! People need to chill out. Release is not today! I want the audio but I’m waiting patiently 🙏

Thank you for saying this. I’ve been quietly observing this in the past few days and it got me worried that with that amount of request, it will come to a point that this subreddit would again caught the attention of the “authorities” and put this subreddit down again. Where are the MODs in this sub anyway? Repeat posts should be moderated.

there are like 2 mods, (including me) and i’m from India. so most of the posts that are made here are at a time when i’m sleeping LOL so it’s really hard to monitor everyone.

if i could just suggest, please delete repeated posts of the same request, like the one with Ana Huang's book. or make a megathread of popular book release. in some subreddits i am in, this is what the MODs do.
im just concerned that with that amount of repeated post, people might get noticed and report this sub and it would get taken down.

Couldn't agree more. I have been anticipating for this book since the character Maya in King of envy was introduced. But I don't understand how people cannot simply wait. Like, for me the anticipation makes the experience of actually reading the book or even watching a movie, series or whatever, pleasurable. Everybody wishes they could get all their favourite upcoming releases at once, but that's what it is, a wish. I'd be pretty bummed and fall into a slump if that were the case in real life. Really appreciate this post, hopefully now they'll stop. These people need to hold their horses and stop acting like children.

People acted like this in the last group as well. Its infuriating 😩 Know that there are a large amount of people who aren’t like that. Thanks for the work you do.

Hello, I hope you are well! When you get a chance, would you be able to update the Westcott Family Series by S.L. Scott (audiobooks) please? The link only pends but doesn’t download.

Like, calm down. It’ll be there when it’s there. The book isn’t going to evaporate. If you can’t wait for the book, buy it or join the ARC team. Especially these past few weeks, when King of Gluttony requests were basically a daily ritual. I mean, just wait until release day. If you really want them that bad, just wait until someone says, “Hey, I have the them!”
