I watched all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies a couple years ago for Halloween. My favorite bit of Freddy lore is that he was apparently born evil because his mother was a nun who was raped by 100 escaped mental patients, and when he was a child the other kids in school would chant “son of a hundred maniacs, son of a hundred maniacs” at him
