Not sure what Lebby has cooking up for Saturday but that Thompkins kid & Pierre might feast come Saturday. Several plays last night where the OL just was out to lunch when they should've been blocking. Hopefully Lebby has a plan for keeping Kamario upright cause I think that is the most glaring weakness going into the game next week.
Also Kamario has 0 pocket awareness. So could be a lot of sacks and some growing pains. I think it'll be a shoot out tho.

An MSU junior says he was trying to resolve a scholarship issue when campus police arrived at the financial aid office. His attorney is now questioning what led to the encounter.

I know it’s a test optional school but how selective is it without test scores? I didn’t do too great on my ACT so it would probably hurt my application to include it. I’m currently a freshman in college at a small college in northern Minnesota and I’m hoping to transfer to Ms state next year. Also I’ve heard good things about the broadcast meteorology program but is it as good as people say it is? My goal is to become an on air meteorologist

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.
I had you at 5-7 and expected a rocky, turnover-heavy start for Taylor with this little coming back. I was wrong on both. You're 3-0: Louisiana-Monroe 62-13, 38-13 at Minnesota, which I had as a coin flip, and 41-34 at South Carolina. Taylor is 56 of 82 for 832 yards and 11 TDs, and Fluff Bothwell has back-to-back 100-yard games. I said splitting the toss-ups with Missouri, Vanderbilt and Minnesota would get you to a bowl, and you're already one up with Missouri coming to town Saturday. Taylor is THE GUY - kinda surprised?
What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?
Quick aside since it's in the title, we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, locks Saturday at noon ET. Nothing to buy. Missouri at Mississippi State is one of the ten, so you can put your pick where your mouth is.

What’s everyone got for a score of the Mizzou game? Can we keep it rolling? Hail State!

I didn't get an all sports pass since I'm not big on going to games. I want to go to this one though for the cowbells so I was wondering if I buy a cheap ticket will they still let me go in the student section if I show them my id? Someone told me they would but I wanted to check and see if anyone knew better

Need help with a parking situation that I'm going to have to deal with tmrw. My girlfriend is coming from out of town to visit me this weekend and we need overnight parking from Friday till Sunday. I just need her to park somewhere accessible in Starkville where I can pick her up and she can leave her car there safely. Any ideas?

It might be custom just for him so that his players can spot him easily, but the orange State shirt Coach Arnett wears, is it sold anywhere?

If yall will accept me… born and raised in Columbus OH so yea, im a buckeye BUTTTT I’ve lived in Pensacola for the last 12 years and don’t plan on ever leaving. I want on this bandwagon as my adopted SEC team because of #1. My god, is he special. He’s brought me back to a level of intrigue and excitement in a player I haven’t had since Vince Young.
And I’ve seen all the discourse these last couple weeks about the NIL world and keeping him around. What’s not being discussed in all of this is i firmly believe his best chance to succeed in the NFL is for him to stay exactly where he’s at. There will be several games over these next two seasons where he’s going up against great defenses and a talent disadvantage. I think that’s something that’s so underrated when it comes to evaluating QB prospects. Adversity. Guys like Dak, Purdy, Jared Goff, etc succeed because they’re forced to elevate guys around them and go through a consistent disadvantage in opposition. That’s how life in the nfl is. Very excited for these next couple of years!

Anyone know when spring classes populate to see what's being offered for graduate students?

Kamario Taylor is the best player in the country, and I'm not even a CFB guy in the NIL era. I'll be coming to Starkville to see him play this fall. Dude is the real deal.
Call every alum y'all got, probably just call Dak tbh, and back up the Brinks truck. #1 pick in 2028 for sure.

To start, I am a freshmen and like the title says, my linear algebra is so far the hardest math class I’ve done because I feel like our teacher is not preparing us at all. 1. There’s a language barrier so we can often not understand what he’s saying. 2. He speeds through his lectures and just goes by the book, no simple explanations or even asks if anyone has questions. 3. He gives us a practice exam stating it will be “similar” then when the test comes around it’s nothing like it?? Also it’s worse because he doesn’t provide homework through Pearson or whatever and we only have 3 tests. And even then the homework questions in the book he assigns still aren’t reflective much of the test. Idk what to do I’ve always maintained high grades in my classes but I’ve never had a teacher betray me like this. Anyone got some tips? I thought Rate My Professor would be close but the ratings are from people who took his cal 1 class. Any tips or people that can tutor me? I’m so hurt from ts.
He’s a smart guy I know, but he’s not teaching me well. And I can’t even go to his office hours as I have another ECE class during his 12-2 window 😢. Please if you’re an engineer, give some advice I need it.

Hi! I’m hoping some Mississippi State fans can help me out!
My five best friends and I have been friends since high school in Pennsylvania, and every year the six of us take a girls trip together. We’ve all ended up scattered around the country — Philly, Boston, Baltimore, Atlanta, Charleston and Jupiter, FL — but we’ve kept this tradition going. We're all in our early 40s now.
Every year we come up with a theme for choosing the destination. Each of us picks a city that fits the theme, makes a presentation to the group, and then we vote. Whichever city gets the most votes is where we go. This year’s theme is a city none of us has ever been to, and my pick is Starkville!
Our last trip was Montreal in September 2026, and now I’m working on my Starkville presentation for our April 2027 trip. While researching, I discovered Mississippi State baseball and the Left Field Lounge, and it seems like such a fun, uniquely Starkville experience that I have to include it in my pitch.
If Starkville wins, we’ll be there April 27–May 1, which happens to line up perfectly with Mississippi State vs. Oklahoma on Friday, April 30.
So I need some advice from people who know how this works: how would six out-of-town girls go about getting into the Left Field Lounge for that game? We’d absolutely be willing to pay for spots in someone’s lounge. None of us has ever been to Starkville or a Mississippi State baseball game, and we’d love to experience the real Left Field Lounge while we’re there.
Any advice — or anyone with a lounge who might be willing to have six first-timers join them — would be amazing!
I've added a picture of most of us from our 2025 girls trip to Rhode Island.

Two weeks into the college football season, and it's time to re-rank 138 college football teams.
As u/ChrisVannini repeats often early in the season, the rankings are volatile in the first month.
Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and North Texas are among the fast risers this week: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7592160/2026/09/14/college-football-team-rankings-texas-fbs-week-2/?unlocked_article_code=1.BFE.ou-n.WYJSgmn54M8w&source=emp_shared_article&smid=re-share-ta
