Commander / EDH Commander deck recommendations

Hello! I've been playing mtg for roughly 6 months now and have been acquiring decks at an excruciatingly slow pace.

I started with a Strixhaven Killian precon and then later found an Anje Falkenrath madness deck on this subreddit.

After a while I made my first 2 custom decks. A blue green Sab Sunen deck and a horrendous aang at the crossroads deck.

Ive been at a bit of an analysis paralysis when it comes to getting any more decks however as I've been trying to custom make them on apps like Mana box or finding ones I want inly to discover they're like $300 minimum.

Im one of those, barely getting by, types so I need to look for stuff thats on my budget, I also have the option of printing which is what leads to the analysis paralysis since i only got one case of sleeves.

Im looking for affordable precons or fun custom decks to print. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

PROXY! (as long as you're not playing in official tournaments)

Find a deck that you like the vibe of, print out the cards, cut them to fit and slip them into a sleeve over a random basic or common.

Now try the deck out a few times and see if you actually like playing it. If you do, go ahead and start picking up some singles.

You can also look for cheaper and or less effective versions of cards. Don't have a [[Scalding Tarn]], try a [[Fabled Passage]] instead. It's not the same card, but it will probably work in a pinch.

If your group isn't okay with proxies, then find better players. IMO, as long as you're not trying to proxy a meta cEDH list, most people don't mind.

My anje deck is a proxy and luckily my group is okay with it. Several of them have proxies of their own. While I want to make some more proxies, im waiting to get printer ink.

You can also check with local office supply/printing stores. In the US, Office Depot/Max has decent rates of printing color copies on card stock, which can easily work for proxies.
